This sketch was made last night just before and after midnight, Lulin moving north-west away from Regulus in Leo. Frank5817 seems to have made a sketch nearly at the exact same time, at a lower magnification, to see his scroll down in the thread here
My limiting magnitude is bad, so the tail was very difficult to make out. The bi-directionality of it is a result of my "best guess" with tenuous averted vision.

Agnotio,
Beautiful sketch of comet Lulin. Very eyepiece realistic! The only way I got any length in the tail at all was to move the scope back and forth without looking directly at the comet. It looks like we know what we were doing at midnight. I wonder what everyone else was doing?

Agnotio,
An excellent observation of this interesting comet. You have recorded the coma and ion tail nicely. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Agnotio, Very nice observational sketch. At 48x, it appears that you were able to see the stellar pseudonucleus. Nice work!

Thanks for the comments guys, I just tried to represent what I saw. Having not sketched a comet before, I knew next to nothing about their ion tails, comas or stellar pseudonuclei, but it seems I was lucky enough to at least partially capture them.

Agnotio,
A fine sketch!
You're also a very brave person, staying out at minus 14°C!
