So, I already have the TSS 18" long counterweight shaft upgrade for my Atlas EQ-G. But, it's the cold rolled steel one. I want to get a Stainless Steel one. Same length.
The problem is TSS is MIA and has been for a while now. (that's too bad, he's losing out on A LOT of business)
Anyhow, where can I get a new CW shaft for my Atlas? I don't need the Dec nut tapped out, it already is. I just need the new CW shaft.
Oh yeah, and while I'm at it, where can I get some nice stainless steel counterweights that'll fit on the 1" thick CW shaft? Do regular Losmandy weights fit?

Well I emailed them today ... it sounds good I just hope it does not involve any mods done to the mount like the one from TSS did as I don't want to do that at this time.

Well it you're just ordering their "stock" 20" CW Shaft no Mods are required. All you have to do is loosen the 3 screws on the Dec nut, unscrew the Dec nut, take out the old CW shaft and insert the new 20" one. The 20" one is the same diameter as the stock one. It's just longer.
I needed a custom CW shaft because I already have a 1" diameter, 18" long CW shaft that screws into the Dec nut.
