I was pointing the moon, just at dawn. I discovered this wonderful network of rimae, close to the great Rhiginus rima. I just looked at your telescope site. Your Dobsonian telescopes are equally masterpieces of artwork! I have spent much time with John Dobson in recent years, but I have never built a telescope. The local famed mirror maker in Washington state, Carl Zambuto built a 15" Newtonian miror and scope for John Dobson last year as a gift. I had the pleasure of observing Saturn and the moon through it with Dobson last summer. A lot of small craterlets are missing, but I did not have the time to note them on my first drawing on the spot. I just concentrated on the detailled network of the rimae and subrimae.
