Back in the saddle.... well soon.

I started getting the impression my mount was going to be in the shop for a couple of months and it must have showed. My darling bride told me 'just buy a new one'. She is so smart!
So I ordered a CGEM today and hopefully it will be here during the round of moonless skies.

So c'mon CGEM owners... let me hear some positive reports on YOUR CGEM...

So far, mine positively is a cloud magnet! The few times I had a chance to use it, I've been impressed. A huge step up from the CG5/LXD75's.

Let's see, Gary gets a new expensive mount, Barbara gets a new car, or a swimming pool...

Great mount, you will love it! The All Star Polar Alignment routine is great!

Thanks for the input, I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on this rascal.

What about the polar scope? Anyone using one, or does the All Star eliminate the need?

Eric, I thought you were aware that Barbara gets what Barbara wants... anytime! With this addition I think she'll be happy just 'reminding' me that I have it, and watching all of those honey do's get done.

Erik, I'm not sure of the radius the cloud magnet will create, but I'm sure it's going to have an effect here locally...
