Paul Maxsons Photo Image of Saturn With Titan Transit
Did we miss a good rare sketching / photo opportunity last night? I see very little reporting of this except for the photo imaging forum (I have enclosed Paul Maxsons fine photo inage from the photo forums above) and see Spaceweather today. Someone tell me that I could not have seen this in Portland Oregon last night.
Thanks for any info, Mark

Yeah, I think you coulda seen it. (Not me, I'm too far east, and it was completely overcast all night anyway).
Quite a few more Titan shadow events coming:

Thanks for the info. I thought perhaps the transit event of Titan would make for a good sketching exercise for many of us. I'll copy your calendar info link. Looks like 12:30 UT coming up on March 28th would be 5:30 AM pacific Daylight time? Just barely into morning dawn light for the west coast.

My information states the event starts at 8:34 UT on March 28, 2009.
My skies were cloudy March 12 2009, but clear March 13, 2009.
