An LX3 Point and Shoot 10mp camera was afocal to an Apex 127 telescope, see: http://www.barrie-tao.com/apex127.html

Camera attached using Panasonic LA4 46mm adapter tube, Bowers 46-37mm step ring, and Scopetronix 37-28mm step ring, and Scopetronix 14mm WA eyepiece. All shot in RAW mode, daylight, Manual focusing. Single shot images.

Barry,

Some great afocal shots there, particularly polar region with Clavius taking centre stage. Have you tried Registax yet? Even if you only stacked ten images, the increase in clarity and reduction can be is amazing.
