Geoptik 3" Dovetail to be used upon CGEM

Awaiting my CGEM mount I ordered a Geoptik 3" dovetail and wondered if it would be safe to bolt it on the refractor rings in the long openings?
See yellow lines...
I guess it would be better to use a single hole on the lower end and the second bolt in the longer middle opening...

Or would it be better to get new rings after all to fit into the outer single holes

I would think with that 'clamshell' configuration, you would be fine using the single bolts.

If you could get a washer on the hex head, it may sit better.

I have the Geoptik kit and it's top stuff. I have my refrac set up the same way as you came up with
