NGC 3190 and 3193 in Leo.

A nice close pair of a spiral and elliptical. They look almost stellar at low power but take on an appearance similar to M81/M82 at higher power. 3190 appears to have a more prominent core, but 3193 looks slightly brighter overall.

This is my first attempt at sketching a galaxy. I used a medium pencil and inverted it. It isn't the most impressive target, but I'm surprised at how realistic it turned out, as long as the brightness isn't too high.

Yet another impressive sketch. I think you have a real knack for deep sky sketching. Please we need to see more.

Frank

Interesting galaxies in Leo. You have captured these faint galaxies nicely. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Carlos

I really like these sketches and can imagine with some averted vision just seeing a little more detail. Then I remember I'm looking at sketches. Nicely done.
