Takahashi JP-Z Mounts
      #2994895 - 03/20/09 06:16 PM

Does anyone know if the Tak JP-Z mounts will be available here in the states or is the EM400 the only option for us?

I see that this is the replacement for the NJP and wondering what it costs as well with the Temma II option.

Thanks !
S

I think it's been discontinued. TNR doesn't show it or the NJP on it's web site anymore

Yes, you are right as I only see it on a Singapore reseller's website:
http://www.starmatrix.biz/takahashi_mounts.php

I see that a NJP is listed at BT Tech and maybe it is just old stock?

Thanks,
S

I received the answer from Art and the JP-Z is no longer produced as of 2 years ago so unless I find a used one, that is not currently available new.

I've bought mine new in March 2008 in Germany an I am very happy with it. At that time I have been told that only 4 were available. Recently I met Mr. Birkmeier from Intercon Spacetec and he told me that Takahashi discovered some more parts in its plant and is screwing together a few more. These would definitely be the last ones produced.
