Telescope Reviews: Benro GH-2 gimbal head

Hi!

By chance, I happened earlier tonight to walk past a shop window with a interesting gimbal tripod head on display. Looked a lot like a Wimberley, but it turned out to be a Chinese Benro GH-2.

has some info, but I can't find any load capacity given. The http://www.benro.com website does not appear to have any tripod heads other than ball-heads.

Anyone used one of these?

Or any other Benro products for that matter?

I'm looking for something shorter, lighter and more compact than my Manfrotto 475 + Telepod head combo to put a (forthcoming) solar scope on - thus full zenith capability is not a critical issue for me.

I've considered putting a Giro mini or a UA Unistar/Dwarfstar on my Manfrotto 055 tripod (while keeping the legs mostly retracted for stability), but with a tripod that "feeble", the thought of putting a relatively expensive load (ca 5 kg, give or take) of quite fragile (the etalon) optics off center does not appeal - which is why a wellbalanced gimbal head would be a nice idea.
