First aligned on a star close by, then focussed with the famous Bahtinov mask, then slewed to Saturn. Had some problems with the brightness. Took off the UV-IR filter, still little light Finally took 3 short avi's before Saturn disapeared behind some clouds and the roof. Closer look, ........... I left the focussing mask on the scope Maybe tomorrow another chance ? The little I have looked well focussed but with some weird fuzzy haze around. Freddy, I use a SPC900 and if seeing permits a TVx3 barlow. Mostly when using this barlow, Saturn is very dim in my scope, so I use a FR of 0.5x plus the TVx3 behind. This works out to be 1.5x. And yes Mike, it's been a while ago now, so likely it's what you say, out of practice! I'll keep on going, but now I'm clouded out again. CS to all!
