Join us in Celebrating IYA2009 by attending:

STELLA-BALOO!

Date: April 4, 2009
Time: 1 pm to 11 pm
Where: The Jordan Planetarium, University of Maine, Orono

Join us for a full day of Astronomy activities.

It starts at the Planetarium and activities snake their way across campus to the Observatory. Sure to delight children and feed "your" inner child. Try the Adventure discovery, Sun viewing with our solar scopes (weather permitting), Planetarium talks and lots more.

Everything is designed for hands-on learning and discovery.

Join us in the evening for the Astro Road Show Night star party. FREE TELESCOPE VIEWING!!! Many club members will be setting up a wide range of telescopes for you to try, don't forget to take an unforgettable look through the 8-inch Alvan Clark refractor telescope in the Maynard F. Jordan Observatory.

FREE Refreshments throughout the day and much much more. (We've got to keep a few surprises)
