I have done a lot of searching through the forums for CGE upgrades and mods. Here is what I have found so far. I'm putting links so hopefully this would end up being a one stop place for cge mods/upgrades. Is there anything else I'm missing or you recommend for cge mounts "like a do it yourself tune up instructions which I have not found"

Dual mounting plate (side by side saddles) ... ADM LSBS , Losmandy DSBS, or Casady tandem and triad bars
Side by side adapter - 90° plate for using a side by side configuration (required if you're not using firmware level gem 4.15) ... ADM
Heavier spreader bar/eyepiece tray ... Starizona accessories (requires a minor amount of filing around where the legs contact it because the CGE tripod legs are a larger diameter than those of the NexStar/CPC scopes. Note that Starizona is often out of stock on this item, when they are out it no longer shows up on the accessory web page. A quick phone call to Starizona will allow you to get an eta and place an order.

Here's my tutorial for replacing the Dec axis socket.
However, if you get a new CGE and a pair of Marty cables from the beginning, you'll probably never have to do this repair.
