Then it looked to me that the bracket to hold the dovetail was upside down (since the chrome safety screw was on the higher side of the mount). It couldn't be rotated around 180 degrees. Orion was no help, told me to call Adorama and send it back. It doesn't look like it would required much to fix, but any ideas? Not sure which specific bolt was the problem, but after reassembly all was well, and the dec locked.
