Telescope Reviews: voyager or atlas

Going to order a sw 120ed pro...

I already have a at voyager alt-az mount and was wondering if I replaced the stock tripod if you think it would handle the 120ed for visual use.

Or- If I should just sell the mount and use it to help fund an orion atlas/eq-6 mount?

Also- I have a tall style giant meade tripod ive been holding onto incase I ever decide to buy a larger refractor.

Anyone ever put an alt-az or eq-6 head on one of these tripods?

Would like the grab and go lightness of using the 120ed on the alt-az but guess setting up an atlas mount wouldnt be too bad and would allow me options for larger OTA's down the road. Can the atlas/eq-6 reach 90* to be used in alt-az mode?
