I have Losmandy dovetails on all my scopes and wonder if there is a replacement saddle for the CG5-ASGT that will let me use them on this mount. I intend on using my C8 scope with the mount. I have looked at several sites but have been confused by the definitions of the items they sell.

Just a simple replacement saddle is all I need. I don't want to buy new dovetails for my scope.

I don't know of anyone making a straight replacement saddle. There is an adapter though ... have a look at link

There is no replacement saddle for the ASGT. You would need to buy another dovetail and exchange dovetail bars depending on the mount you wish to use. You could mount two dovetail bars on the C8, but one would be on top and one on bottom and your finder will have to be removed depending on which dovetail you're using.

I think going with the ADM adapter would be your best and easiest option. It would be a pain to keep switching dovetails.
