I am getting ready to mount my CGEM 1100 on a pier. Does anyone have a drawing of the bolt pattern to attach it to the pier top plate? I hate to take the scope down to get the info. but will do that if no one has a print. John

I would call Celestron technical support. They should be able to get you a bolt pattern!!

John,
The bolt pattern is the same as the Atlas (At least should be) 1 Center bolt and the bolt for the Az pin. A quick google search should turn up what your looking for.
This may help.
This
I think this is what you want
Hope those help.

I call Celestron last week and they told me none were available. They will email one to me if they can find one. So far nothing.

Thanks for the link. I don't think that will work. The CGEM has 1 bolt in middle but there are 2 pilots to locate. One is 65MM dia. and the other is 30MM. I have a drawing now but thanks anyway for your help. If anyone would like the drawing I could email to them.

The Atlas uses the same pattern. They are 2 different locations for the Azimuth pin. These simply allow you to position North either inline with a tripod leg or between 2 tripod legs. we set up 3 of these at NEAF.
Otherwise the pier looks like it will be VERY solid. You don't list a dimension for the distance between the 2 plates. Just make sure you leave enough to insert and remove the center bolt without having to remove the whole top plate. I speak from experience

Thanks for the feedback. I was going to leave 2 1/2 to 3 inches between the plates on top. I can change that by using longer threaded rod so shouldn't be a problem. John
