first saturn ever, etx-80 new

This is my first saturn ever. Etx-80 antares 2x barlow and modified creative labs ultra webcam. Processing done with registax v4 and noiseware. Taken April 14, 2009 from Teulon, Mb., Canada. Picture has been resized.

You know, that's a cool shot. I really like how you were able to capture the ring shadow on the globe.

Thanks supercoolone. To answer your question, I used 118 frames from 288. I have a lot to learn, but I'm hooked now and can't wait to try again, and possibly to upgrage my scope to something a bit more appropriate for imaging.

Great shot for the ETX. Sounds like aperture fever is setting in.

Yip. Aperture fever is highly contageous and very expensive to cure indeed. Doctor,doctor gimme a light bucket!
