Great sketch!


Thank you for bringing Jaws under my attention.
I had a good look last night at it with my 4" refractor. At x60, Jaws was cut off at the edge of the fov. Thanks to your sketch, I recognized Jaws instantly. I moved M104 out of center on purpose to included Jaws on my sketchpaper. The gx and Jaws formed a nice duo in my fov. I imagined that Jaws was trying to attack M104.

Thanks everyone!

I saw a few pictures of Jaws before I've observed it. To be honest: I couldn't reconize the asterism. When I was looking for M104, I stumbled upon a few bright stars and reconized it immediately.

Anyway: It's a funny sight to see those objects together!
