I've written up a "history" of what happened during the "100 Hours of Astronomy" at Kopernik Observatory and Science Center, Vestal, New York (Binghamton area www.kopernik.org).
Here's the link: http://www.kopernik.org/images/archive/history%20of%20100hrs%20at%20Kopernik.pdf
……or here: http://tinyurl.com/dxg2lb
This is an 11 page long pdf file that includes text and a number of pictures of the event, both at Kopernik Observatory, the Broome County Library in Binghamton NY, and the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City NY.
This was a tough weekend to run anything in the Binghamton area because of the tragic mass killing that happened at the same time. It was difficult to get anyone in the mood to go out to something like “100hrs”, especially since many other events in our area were canceled. Yet we did have a modest attendance at three different venues and it was well received by the public. We did get a lot of people looking thru telescopes for the first time in their lives.
