Insane case deal! CG5, LXD75, Orion AZ, EZ-Touch new

Another CN member recommend this case for tripods. I ordered two for a total of 50$ (free shipping) and was delighted by their high quality and that they could fit the entire mount and tripod. The CG5ASGT fits like the case was made for it. They're made of heavy ballistic nylon and are well padded with two sturdy handles and a shoulder strap. These are a steal.

Are the ones in your picture the On-Stage Stands SSB-6500 Speaker Stand Bag (dimensions 50"x10"x5"). Yours look smaller than 50".

I could use a case padded (& priced) like this that's 36" instead of 50". Anyone have any recommendations?

Yep, the cases are 50" long. I don't have any broader knowlege about the avaiability of shorter cases like these, but one option would be to invert the ends putting the extra material underneath whatever you put in the bag, however the shoulder strap wouldn't function like this.

You gotta love the internet. I checked the link after I had posted it this morning and it worked fine. Now my browser, Google Chrome, is telling me the link is broken. I tried going to their home page, www.cq73.com, without luck so I'm guessing their server is down. I was going to order one of these myself for my iOptron MiniTower tripod. If you want I can send you the catalog page from my cache.

Let me know how you like that $10 canvas bag for your MiniTower tripod. That's what I'm trying to fit, too. (Shipping that bag adds another $12 to the cost for me, though).

I thought I would bring this back to life because I found another case at guitar center that might work as well or better. It looks like it might have enough room for two tripods. I was gonna order one of speaker stand bags, but I have one tripod that is longer than 50 inches. Here is what I found.. Keyboard Bag

I was very excited when I got my two bags as they each happened to be a perfect fit for my two mount/tripods. I think you can shop around and find similar deals in other sizes. In the off-season (right now in the northern hemisphere) check out things like snowboard and ski bags too.
