Bay Area?       #309223 - 01/13/05 12:30 PM Edit   Reply   Quote Quick Reply   Hey guys, I'm itching to get started on my scope rebuild, and need some good quality 1/2" and 1/4" plywood (Baltic Birch, Appleply, etc.). Anyone know of any sources in the S.F. Bay Area? I was just about to order some Baltic Birch from the Public Lumber Company and discovered the shipping costs are nearly twice as high as the plywood itself! Very friendly, had ApplyPly in 1/2 and 3/4, Baltic Birch in 1/2 and 3/4, and Finnish Birch in 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4. I went with the Finnish Birch partly because it's just awesome stuff, and partly because I wanted to have some 1/4" as a reinforcement aid.
