Is the built in diagonal all that good compared to my televue 99% diagonal? Would it be worth my money to invest in a ETX to SCT cell adapter, a SCT visual back, and a Meade 1.25" eyepiece holder? I could also just get the cell adapter and then a SCT crayford focuser. I'm not sure if its worth it all though. The diagonal seems very prone to damage, the eyepiece holder screw leaves me very uneasy, and I'm sick of mirror shift. Let me know what you all think

There are two problems here: (1) the weight of a SCT crayford is enough to unbalance a CPC1100, let alone an ETX with its weak motor & small gears; (2) you will not be able to see anything higher in the sky than about 30 deg altitude (where the good seeing is only just starting) because the thing will foul on the mount.
My experience with the flip mirror in the ETX125 is that it's OK, or maybe a bit better than that. Not great but adequate.
The mirror shift is a different issue. I take it you've tried winding the mechanism up & down through its full range a few times, this usually helps quite a lot. But my ETX 125 had minimal mirror shift, about the diameter of Jupiter - not enough to be a real issue even when webcamming with a big magnifier in.

I forgot to mention brian, that this is on a cg-5 mount haha. I dont think weight will be an issue perse. So with that added information, will it be worth it?

Not to me. Your mileage may vary.

I doubt you will notice any difference, and, if you are set up in alt-az, you will run into clearance problems.
