I wanted to mount my ASGT on my CPC tripod, since I had rollers on that one.

My homemade pier extension serves multiple uses, mounting to the original tripod, the CPC tripod, and the pier plate in the observatory.

The original mounting bolts were a bit short. Some nice knobs from McMaster-Carr solved that. Since the CPC lives mostly in the observatory, using it's tripod is not a hassle. And I taped the original mount hardware, in a plastic bag, to a leg so I wouldn't lose it. Hubert
