Thanks for the article. I'm a fan of double star observing and I hope it becomes more popular.

Regarding Zeta Cancri, the two closer companions look like a peanut at 225x in my 4" refractor, and the split is visible at 300x in my 6" refractor. I had good seeing conditions for these observations.

Thanks for the beautifully written report. I especially enjoyed reading about your lost sense of time while observing. It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one when I look at my watch and wonder how it could possibly be 3am.

It's good to know I managed to express, on some level at least, how the timelessness of the observing experience sometimes feels. It's an odd sensation, and yet a curiously refreshing one.
