The orange slit brought the oooo's and ahhhhh's but the rapid rise brought more comments. It's always a treat to catch the rise with some newbies that have never really aimed to deliberately catch it before. The next day I sketched the scene from memory. Your foreground touches add great depth and a sense of impressionistic realism to the scene. I have taken many photos of moonrise/moonsets, sunrise/sunsets but there is something about a hand sketched rendering that says so much more.
