How about we all use this forum to list information on our public IYA Events.
Here is a Layout we can use:
Event Name Date Time Location--Address Location--City, State Details
I hope this forum can be used for the general public or visiting astronomer s to find events in both their area and there new

I can tell you as a frequent participant of Explore the Stars, it is a fun experience. Camping at the observatory campground, heading up to the Domes for a tour (participants who bring their scopes are occasionally given special behind the scene's tours of the observatories). And nice dark skies.
Most of the campers tend to go to sleep around 11:30 or 12:00 and the rest of the night is ours. Many of us set up for imaging after the outreach portion is done.
I highly recommend it.
