Oh man. If only I had the spare funds. That 6" Cave is a very nice looking scope. Granted, it could use some tender love and care but that is pretty tasty. If gas wasn't so expensive, it would almost be worth it for me to drive up and pick it up seeing as it's a 3-4 hour car ride for me =).

Wow!
What looks to be a nicely decked out Meade 826 (I think these were called "856's" when they had the guidescope), in a contortionist pose!: Meade 8"
Price is very high. I may send seller an email offering a link to some info about the scope (in the hopes it'll encourage them to reconsider their asking price if they want it sold).

I take it back. It's an 826 with a guide scope. There's no dec slo mo control, no accessory shelf, and no dual axis drive corrector (though there appears to be some aftermarket gizmo attached to the pier).

Saw the cave. Needed a LOT of work. I'd have balked at $150, especially without a motor drive.
Should have looked at the Meade. It got eaten up. - j

Somebody in the SF Bay Area is giving away what sounds like one of the larger red-tube Coulter Odysseys (perhaps 17.5"?).
(Not my ad.)

12.5" f/8 Optical Craftsmen mirror on the bay: OC 12.5" f/8 mirror
I placed a bid and sent the seller a question. He indicated that it came from a "salvaged" OC telescope. I'd be interested in upping my bid if that scope still exists and is restorable.
But I wanted to go ahead and post this in case there are others here in need of such a mirror for an existing project. I already have one 12.5" mirror I'm not using! (but it's an f/3.5!), and a 12.5" f/23 Cass that I AM using!
