Has anyone reviewed this item? Would this be compared to a CG5-GT or LXD75? Thanks!

They currently have no support for auto guiding.

The system has a HBX port and iOptron advertises this "for auto guiding" but this is not an ST4 port nor are there currently any accessories to allow plug in of auto guiders.

This is about the main gripe users have with this system. Otherwise it is quite a good system.

Hm...

I just installed a "gotonova" kit on a Super Polaris mount. The hand controller has a USB port and the kit came with a USB cable for connection to the computer. I would think one could use a GPUSB from Shoestring Astronomy for guiding, but I haven't tried it yet myself (just made the upgrade last night).

yes the system has extra ports for ASCOM driving but no dedicated guide port. With ASCOM you would have to pulse guide and I don't believe users have been successful with that.

I haven't tried pulse guide yet with my set up.

ASCOM drivers still have some issues as well.
