Thank you. A little to technical for me, im a rookie so im just looking for one easy answer, if there is one that is, lol. A lot of talk about night time nebula filters, im interested in the solar filter only, H-alfa. Thank's again for the reply, Don.

I'd like to add my site:

http://www.seemysunspot.com It's a daily record of solar activity using images and sketches from observers all over the world...I have over 16mths there now with very few missing days...If people want to see the activity on any particular day, I probably have one or more images/sketches for them check out along the the day before and after for those doing any research...Just a thought!

I found this very interesting page on the NOAA website.

Space Physics and Terrestrial Effects

It is geared for grades 7 through 12.

Hi,
my favourite site for daily information is:
http://www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/latest_events/

This site offers fast approach to all relevant data concerning solar imaging, flare follow up, and data of the last days.
