I've seriously downsized my refractor, having sold the NP127 this week. I'm thinking that the DM-6 is overkill for my TV85, and I'm thinking of downsizing to one of the Ioptron products. Which would be more appropriate?

The MiniTower has a beefier tripod than the Cube Pro and has worked pretty well for my 80mm refractor. I don't think I'd want to use any smaller of a mount than the MT.

My iOptron Cube Pro is wonderful for my 80mmEd but I did use my point and shoot camera to take picture. Not that easy! Cube Pro gave me so many deep sky objects that I want to see.... nice! I think Mini Tower is better to handle for bigger or heavier telescope OR add camera!

I found that several dealers will ONLY handle the Mini Tower. I asked two of them why they would not handle anything from Ioptron other than the Mini Tower and both reluctantly told me that they do not consider the others serious mounts. The Mini Tower, as they say, is head and shoulders above everything else.

Steve Forbes has just released a wedge for the MT. You can now set it up in EQ mode for extended astrophotography.
