I had one for a few months and loved it for the price. Very solid, very accurate go to's. Was able to get acceptable guided results by my standards. PE was 30 sec peak to peak and did have some rapid changes but keeping the guide exposures short helped a great deal. I think its a fine mount for the money.

I think you will find it a nice fit for what you want to load it with. I haven't had a chance to use mine for AP yet, but I'm impressed with its performance so far visually. I had a 10" SCT on it the other night and it was solid.

I really like mine...gotos are very accurate; the polar align routine works well...I have made 5 minute guded subs no problem; very solid yet easily portable in two pieces...good buy.

I only use mine for visual (at least so far). I have a 6" refractor on it, pushing 30 lbs with accesories, and damping is around 1 second. When I had the 4" refractor on it damping was sub-second. I'm very happy with the mount.

Thanks to all who have posted there opinions on this Mount. I was wondering about the 30 sec peak to peak PE and if anyone out there in astroland has tried to tune the mount and if so any instructions to reduce the PE? Or should I look into saving a little more and get the CGE Pro Mount?

Well with looking over the forums looks like I will get better results with a Atlas mount and do the tuneup to it??
