last night did polar alignment using kochab method.when i did alignment process alignment stars were ~15 degrees off. during the process it ask daylight savings y/n of course i said y.should this have n since i'm doing my polar alignment with this method thanx

It don't matter what you use for your polar alignment, DST must be ON right now. Fifteen degrees does sound like a time problem, however...double check Timezone and all other settings.

When you say Kochab method do you mean using the polar scope and aligning the counter weight bar to Kochab?
The daylight savings should be set to yes if your area observes daylight savings time and you are in the daylight savings time of year. This sets the universal time to your local time so the alignment is correct.
If you were 15 degrees off then the incorrect time setting would explain the error. 1 degree for every 4 minuets is 15 degrees for one hour.
