1. What is the purpose of Syn To Target and how do you go about it?
2. On the first page of the display the top two lines read: TRA and TDEC. What is this? Further down the display it reads RA and DEC.

#1 you have done your alignment. do your First goto target and it's NOT quite centered, you click sync to target, use the arrow keys (reduce the mount speed to ~16X from the default 64x btw-took me 2 months to realize this)and center the target then press the center ok button. it further refines the alignment for the better.

1) TRA is target RA and TDec is target declination.
2) Synch to target:
Matches the telescope's current equatorial coordinates to Target Right Ascension and Declination. You do this after you've centered the object.
