I have the same question as Rich and some other details to ask of. What is the medium that you used (I am guessing charcoal on nominal white paper or charcoal paper) and what is the format size of your work? Have you submitted other sketch work in the past? Is this the first moon sketch for you?

i admire your moonsketches, as well as the moondrawings made by Rich, Frank, rolandlinda and many other people as well on this forum. they're superior to mine in my opinion.
to answer your questions: the paper is standard white A4 'drawing paper' a little heavier then copy paper, 120g for 24 papers says the front sheet.
for the pencil, look at my reply on rich's question it isn't charcoal, but i guess it comes close to it, it's denser and harder, and i like it for the dark regions because it gives more contrast and depth.
this sketch takes up a good portion of one A4, perhaps 60-70%?
you can see all my sketchwork if you follow the 'my cn sketch & picture gallery'-link in my sig line at the bottom of my post(s). there are mainly planetsketches, a few deepsky and moonsketches (don't forget to check out my desastreus first moonsketch ) and a few pictures.
this is perhaps my 4th or 5th moonsketch.
