Anyone overhauled an EZ Touch?
      #3158609 - 06/12/09 06:34 AM

I just got a used EZ Touch [silver one] and so far it is pretty good. The one slight niggle is that even with the tube balanced well, the slightest focus adjustment needs the locking screw to be turned in quite tight to stop the altitude position moving. There is quite a lot of grease here and there and I wondered if they loose grease over time and whether I need to to strip it and re-grease it.

Anyone done this? Anything I should watch out for? What type of grease? Any other thoughts?

And thanks for any help.
