Now I have slewing rates of 240X instead of 32X, changed a whole lot inside the mount, new motors etc. and replaced the SkySensor3 (!!) with the FS2 goto system of AstroElectronic from Germany. It takes some work and money, but the results are truly worth every second and cent.. If there is anybody out there who wants to make a modern topclass piece of equipment out of his old Vixen Atlux, contact me and I will be happy to help you any way I can.
