Hi,
Here's my sketch on NGC 6910, a small and compact open cluster in Cygnus. When observing this open cluster you see bright yellow stars, that are in fact B-stars. So they should appear white. What causes the yellowish appearance is explained an article on my website . I got some great help from Professor James Kaler, author of some of the best books on stars, and Dr. Franz Gruber, who sent me a few magnificent deepsky images of the Cygnus area to illustrate the high degree of nebulosity in the Cygnus area.

Beautiful sketch Math! How come I've never actually gave attention to this little cluster? I have to check it out tonight.
Your website is beautifully done too, very relaxing design, congrats!

Beautiful cluster (and sketch!) that I didn't even know was there. I'll certainly be looking for it next time I get a chance.

Math,
I enjoyed both looking at your sketch and your website with the information. Well done and I look forward to your next posting. I also will have to look this up if the clouds ever part where I live.

Math,
An excellent observation of NGC 6910 in Cygnus. You have recorded this interesting open cluster very nicely. The explanation on your web site (provided by the famous stellar astronomer James Kaler) is interesting and informative. Your web site is excellent as well. Thank you for sharing it with us all.

Math,
Ecellent sketch, notes, and information on your website(s). You are a good student of Jeremy's digital processing tutorial.

Nice work on this interesting little open cluster, which to me resembles a letter Y more than a rocking horse.

Hey! I got home from work tonight and it was clear for the first time in weeks. I just could not help it, I had to get the dob out and look at NGC6910. Wow, it looks just like your sketch. I recognized it at only 50x (low power). Had some fun looking at this cluster at 92x. I do not know why I have never looked at this cluster before, It seems just as nice as M29, I love it. I could see the rocking horse plain as day, although upside down.

Hi all,
Glad you all like the sketch of this little cluster. Last year when I was scanning the Gamma Cygni area, looking for M29, I noticed this little gem even at lowest magnification. I never heard of it before. I'm planning to visit it again during the next few weeks.

As soon as I had the chance, I gave a try to this OC. Here's the result. (no observation data available yet, sorry)
The two yellow (fake) stars truly rule the cluster which looks pretty much like a horse indeed (or maybe a donkey?). Really fascinating, thanks for drawing my attention.

Very nice, indeed. I need to put this cluster on my list next time I get out behind the eyepiece.
