Glass type isn't something we generally get hung up on. What we expect is a certain performance level and frankly these have exceeded expectation. I know Markus answered a similar question about glass in the TS127mm discussion in Refractors and our belief is that well made optics will produce outstanding views. If they aren't any good we won't sell them.
