The southern sky here in Oregon is hard to see, but was better placed with a clear horizon at the GSSP so I took advantage.

Nice capture of all the globulars. I love the details that your sketch captures, especially on M4.

Aaron,

These are all beautifully done and nicely drawn to scale.

Frank

Thanks, M4 was actually a bit frustrating to do. I got sick of drawing all the stars and my 'dots' got sloppy and became little lines. The digital version actually hides this some.

Also, here are some photos from the weekend: GSSP 2009 Photos

The digitized sketches look great.

Aaron,

Excellent observations of globular clusters. You have captured the different sized globulars very nicely. Thank you for sharing them with us all.

Carlos

Excellent globular sketches!

They can be a bit frustrating to sketch, but they also make some of the most pleasing sketches to look at.

Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Aaron,

Very nice work with these globulars!

M4's distinct appearance of the chain of stars is very well displayed on your sketch.
