Hi,
I have a William Optics EZ Touch, and wondered what way would be best to mount a large DSLR on it?

I don't have an EZ-Touch mount, but usually a good way to moutn a DSLR directly to a mount or piggyback on a scope, etc. is to use a small 3-way head. In this case I believe the WO mount accepts Vixen style dovetails so you could probably mount a small 3-way or ball head on a short Vixen style dovetail bar. Depending on the particular dovetail you use and the depth of the saddle on the mount you might have to use a counter sunk bolt and either drill and countersink a hole in the dovetail or countersink an existing hole OR if you use a slightly longer dovetail than necessary you could leave the portion of the dovetail with the bolt head sticking out below it out of the saddle. Something like the Bogen head pictured here (a 3025) is pretty inexpensive (this one is about $25.00) and works well.

Thanks John,
That's an idea I'll have to look into. My initial thought was some type of L bracket.
