hello everyone the clouds cleared out for a while, and i was treated to a wonderful view of 1024. these images were captured at aprox 2130UT 4 july 2009. here is how the spot looked in0.75ang Ha

Michael that is a great sequence you captured! Nice detail in the Halpha shot especially. Hope it sticks around for another day so I can get a shot at it.!

Great shots Mike, glad to see it was still going strong after sunset in the UK. Only a few more hours till sunrise here and i'll be straight onto the fella'. In the mean time i'm going to see if we get a nice volcanic sunrise as a result of Sarychev going off
