IYA 2009 in TURKEY new

Hi all astronomy lovers,
I'm from Turkey, Canakkale University (one of the university in TURKEY which has an observatory called "Ulupinar Astrophysics Observatory" , http://physics.comu.edu.tr/caam ).
We also think to do some IYA 2009 activities.
A few of them listed below:

*Observing activites for primary schools,
*Star parties, planet hunters nigths,
*Educational Astronomy programs,
*Monthly & Weekly TV, Movie Shows
*Press relaeses for all grades
*Educatinal documents (booklets, newspapers, astronomical magazines, posters, brochures etc.)
*Weekly seminars, discussions, workshops, congress for non-majors
etc.

Keep up the good work and remember to be successful you need fresh variety to bring in customers, then interaction to keep everyone part of it. Photo gallery, forum and likewise are good places to start.
So refresh your page often with more new data, frequently and try to bring more people in to run the show for you at its best.

Hi I live at a Greek island which is 10 Km from Cesme,Turkey. I've visited a lot of times you country and I am sure you have very organised astronomy universities,space camp e.t.c. Well Done !
