Fabulous three hour imaging session through midnight last night when all the gear [Meade ETX70 OTA+Starlight Xpress MX9 piggyback on classic LX200] worked to perfection Only intended to target the faint comet C/218 Linear F7 in Virgo low in the SW but got carried away Here's a sampler - globular Pal 7 in Serpens at mag 10.5 in standard 200s exposure [10x20s subs] with no flat/darks or optical filters used and processed, at the telescope, via the SX controlling software - more to follow

I am absolutely gobsmacked every time I see these gorgeous images and think these were all done on a 70mm scope! You have a true gift, nyte! I have to get off my duff and start playing with my 80 and 125 and see what I can come up with.

I think you managed to snag NGC 6207 in that image of M13! No mean feat, considering it's a magnitude 11.6! With a 70mm scope...that's just amazing! Keep 'em coming!

Thanks Max - last night July 18 a brief one hour session curtailed by advancing cloud on some DSOs in Vulpecular above Altair - these objects targetted last week by the massive autonomous 2m Faulkes Telescope on Hawaii during a lunchtime school's session from SW London in brief exposures so little hope against my minute ETX-70 at 1/800th the light collecting power from suburbia but who knows here's ordinately faint planetary NGC 6842 [mag 13.6p; 48"diam; mag16 central star] with field OC NGC 6834
