Yesterday, I received my new ETX-90PE and after reading the manual, I still have a few questions.
1- How the activation/desactivation of the SmartFinder red dot works?
2- How the activation/desactivation of tracking works?
3- Does the Patch kits from Richard Seymour are reliable?
Thanks!

Yes, Dick Seymour's patch software is reliable.
Selecting Terrestrial stops tracking-
Sorry on the finder- I removed mine several years ago and mounted a Rigel QuicKfinder-- but it shows how to activate the Finder in the manual. I remember reading it.

For the activation of red dot, the only I way found to activate it, is to enter the "Finder Set" menu. After entering the menu, it light up. Beside setting a "blind off" delay of zero secoond, I didn't find a way to desactivate it. Can somebody please confirm?

Ziguy,
All you have to do is turn on the red light on the Autostar handset with the "O" button and it turns on the finder light too.
