I was able to spot a thin Waxing Crescent Moon (2.2 days old) over the western horizon (~6 degrees). The Crescent moon was beautiful as it was partially obscured by lavender-grey clouds. I hope that you all like it.

Timely that I see this now as the sky here is clear and the sun just set. You have inspired me to go out and maybe sketch.

Beautiful sketch Carlos, we saw the moon hanging in the west from Ridgefest our local summer festival, i showed folks all around and they agreed it was beautiful
