Great image! Have you experimented with a little more contrast? The dark lanes may become more pronounced. I started on this area @500mm a while back and after 6 frames the clouds have not left.

I've got this new hi-contrast LCD monitor, and so it worries me about the contrast thing you said. I'll have to check it out on my old CRT screen or on somebody else's computer for a comparison.

That's a wonderful image. I do agree with Gary that a little more contrast would make it even better

Agreed - great image. I am trying to set up a similar set of kit, but with an HEQ5 mount. What do you use as guiding software for the Mintron - I've been trying PHD but it does not recognise my camera?

Excellent shot , I like the way you framed it.
I have noticed I have to check my shots of several montiors to make sure its the way I like it , they are all so differnent.
