I've been away for awhile and am thinking ETX. How have they improved in the last couple years and what one should I look at? Thanks.

I don't know about ETXs, but the Bearcats sure have improved in recent years. Go Bearcats!

Welcome back! I think the Etx's are pretty consistent now. Made in China but there long enough to work out the kinks. I have a couple and they are great. You may want to snap up a 125PE while you still can. The LNT finder makes it much easier than the old useless tiny optical finders.
