Must See :) ISS/Shuttle crossing the disk in CaK new
      #3239150 - 07/26/09 10:32 AM

Heya all. got a bit lucky
Cam was the DMK in my sig, and the scope was my 80mm ED. I used no barlow and this is a single frame. I will post a movie of the entire transit later. Shuttle is clearly visible on the northern center structure if the ISS. Thanks for looking!

Thanks fellas....i agree...took me a year to get it right as well...also....i love Cal-Sky and it was pretty spot on as far as the transit location across the sun.

You should consider submitting that to Sky & Telescope or Astronomy Magazine... or even National Geographic! THAT is one fine shot!

You might try googling the magazine name with submissions and see what comes up... most magazines have some info online for submissions- I sure think its worth a shot- if you'd like to be published!

FANTASTIC images! Get that sent off to all of the media outlets and I can see it making the rounds like the previous images did a month or two back.
