We had 12 days of cloudless nights. The sketch reflects the view to the South from the terrace of our appartement. I tried to include the lightpollution from a nearby streetlight near the southern horizon as well. Even before paying any attention to the stars whatsoever, the details of the star clouds and gaps produced by dark clouds was so realistically executed that I knew in an instant what portion of the milky way was shown.
